The other approach of the antivirus software lies in identifying any kind of suspicious software in the computer. Thus they are one step ahead of the virus inventors and are able to look for means to control the virus before it begins to take control of the computer. Most antivirus software use both systems, with a greater emphasis on the dictionary method. The efficacy of an antivirus software is totally dependent on how frequently the user updates it and how soon the manufacturers are able to find remedies for the newer and more dangerous viruses that keep cropping up everyday. Unfortunately sometimes the newer virus attacks multiple computers so quickly that valuable data is lost before effective action can be taken. The importance of an antivirus software in your computer can be never be over emphasized. Buy one, and update it regularly.
